I was only able to catch the second half & don't want to draw too many conclusions. Still, an 80-51 win is a nice way to start the season. (It has been four years since Michigan had an exhibition win by more than 20 points.)
It seemed like the players were more confident on offense - everyone looked willing to take the open shot, and quite a few seemed to fall.
The defense seemed strong - many steals and deflected passes that caused LSSU turnovers.
Katie Dierdorf played - good to see her back on the court. Let's hope for a healthy senior season for her.
Veronica Hicks looked ready to play at this level. Possibly her biggest problem will be finding much playing time this year.
