I had hoped to do a bit of a preview for the Akron game tonight, but I have been beyond busy. I'm still planning on making it to the game. In the meantime, the Michigan Daily did do a preview article, which can be found here. This should be a bit tougher test than Lake Superior, but it is still a game that Michigan should win. Akron wasn't a very strong MAC team last year, and they lost a number of players to graduation and transfer. They do have sophomore Sarah Tokodi, who averaged 12.6 points a game as a freshman.
Michigan is bigger, more experienced and playing at home. Let's hope for a solid effort to start the season.
