Forward Quistelle Williams of East Kentwood, Mich., has signed a national letter of intent to play basketball for Arkansas, Lady Razorbacks Coach Tom Collen announced Wednesday.Williams, a 6-0 post player, is considered one of the top high school players in Michigan after averaging 16. 4 points and 10 rebounds per game this season. She also averaged six assists and four blocked shots.
"Quistelle is extremely athletic and a great scorer and rebounder,"Collen said. "She's versatile enough to play either forward position. We are very excited to add her to our recruiting class. We feel she is the best prospect in the state of Michigan for the Class of 2008."
