Postseason Banquet

The team's postseason banquet was held Friday night. The four seniors (Clement, Cooper, Dierdorf & Walker) were named winners of the Coach's award, and Ashley Jones received the "Most Improved Award":

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan women’s basketball program honored the 2007-08 team members at its annual postseason banquet, held Friday evening (April 11) at the Junge Family Champions Center. Seniors Krista Clement (St. Ignace, Mich./LaSalle HS), Janelle Cooper (Detroit, Mich./Renaissance HS), Katie Dierdorf (St. Louis, Mo./Visitation Academy) and Ta’Shia Walker (Lansing, Mich./J.W. Sexton HS) were honored for their accomplishments during their four-year careers at U-M, and seven Wolverines took home individual awards in front of family, friends and loyal supporters of the Maize and Blue.
