After playing a smaller role last season, Krista Clement is beginning to flourish as a senior for the University of Michigan women's basketball team.
In Cheryl Burnett's final season as coach, Clement never started, and averaged eight minutes per game and a team-low 1.4 points.
She has played a larger role in the team's best start since 2002-03, starting every game for new coach Kevin Borseth, averaging 34-plus minutes and 5.1 points per game for the Wolverines (6-3).
