Michigan had a big win today - after struggling in the first half (shooting under 30%) and trailing by 2 at half time, a big second half led to a 63-46 win. Balanced scoring (three players in double figured - Janelle Cooper, Krista Phillips (a double double) and Krista Clement) along with an assist/turnover ratio over 1 (17 assists/14 turnovers) were big reasons for the win.
The win was nice for several reasons - it extends their win streak to 4 games, they are still undefeated at home this year, the first time in six years they have opened the Big 10 season with a win, the first win against Iowa in a few years... Congratulations to Coach Borseth and the entire team.
