Hollins, who is 5-feet-7, is considered the premier point guard in the state’s 2009 class, according to Ohio Girls Basketball Report executive director Tom Jenkins.
Hollins, who was a Cincinnati Enquirer Division I first-team selection last season, averaged 11.7 points, 3.4 steals, 3.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists for the Warriors. She was third-team all-Southwest District and Fort Ancient Valley Conference Buckeye division player of the year.
Jenkins said Hollins has the ability to get by defenders off the dribble and is relentless on the defensive end.
"The Big 10 historically has recruited to win the conference and has not had much success in the NCAAs when pitted against southern or northeast teams with lightning quick guards," Jenkins said.
